US to Require Negative Test for Travelers from UK
Following the news of a new strain of the COVID-19 virus in the UK, the CDC has announced new restrictions for travelers coming to the US from the UK. Beginning Monday, incoming travelers from the UK will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID test for entry to the US. Travelers should be tested no more than three days prior to the flight and the airline will confirm test results for all passengers before boarding.
What Brexit Means for Business Travel
Business travel between the European Union and the UK has become more challenging following the end of the Brexit transition period. Changes affecting business travelers include new restrictions on freedom of movement, new limits on length of stay, new restrictions on visa-free business travel, as well as many more considerations. Further clarification on key points of the agreement is expected in the coming month.

Jetblue Adds New Airbus
Described as a “next-generation aircraft,” the airline’s new Airbus A220-300 will replace their existing fleet of 60 Embraer 190 aircraft. Jetblue hopes the A220 will help them reach net zero carbon emissions by 2040.


Qatar Launches New Service in Seattle
Almost 2 months ahead of schedule, Qatar Airways is ready to launch four weekly flights to Seattle on January 9th. Seattle is the seventh new destination launched by the airline since the start of the Pandemic.
