Celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week

This week, we join the U.S. Travel Association in celebrating the Power of Travel and recognizing the Travel Industry’s role in bringing back our vibrant communities, restoring the U.S. economy, rebuilding our workforce and reconnecting America.
Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the travel and tourism industry was a significant contributor to the U.S. economy and exports, and supported millions of hard-working Americans of all backgrounds. Today, travel spending is down nearly $500 billion, costing the U.S. economy $1.1 trillion

With the right measures in place, we can get people moving again in a safe and healthy way.  Safely reopening our borders and restarting international inbound travel will be essential for our industry to rebuild.  A robust recovery requires the return of business travel, meetings and events, which can be done in a healthy and safe way.

By maximizing the Power of Travel, we can define the future of mobility, re-imagine the air travel system, increase our global competitiveness, and implement innovative technologies that will strengthen security while improving travel facilitation.
Established in 1983 by congressional resolution, National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) is an annual tradition during the first full week of May for the U.S. travel community to celebrate the value travel holds for our economy, business and personal well-being.

Tag us on FacebookTwitter or Instagram, with your favorite travel photos and tell us what the #PowerofTravel means to you!

Is Your Passport Valid?

If you plan to travel internationally in 2021, now is a great time to check your passport validity!

As a general rule, passports should be valid for at least 6 months after the intended date of travel, but these rules may also vary depending on your destination.

The current normal processing time for passports is 10-12 weeks, so there is no time like now to get started on your renewal.
